Truce breaks out between the Ballymurphy and Commedagh lads…
After the great success of the St Patrick’s festival of events at Naomh Eoin Clg, preparations are in full flow for our Lá na gClub day at Corrigan on Saturday 6th May.
We will have something for all sections of the club and for all age groups, with the highlight sure to be the most eagerly awaited match-up since Ali/Frazier III…a challenge between the ‘Murph and Commedagh juvenile squads of yesteryear!
Ballymurphy will be managed by McLarnon and Wilson (who have promised not to park-the-taxis a la Jose Mourinho) while the up-the-road squad will be selected by Heenan and Donnelly (who will be enforcing a zero tolerance approach to referee back-chat from the start). Competition will be fierce for both teams so you better get your name down quick!!
A few of these lads may even make an appearance!
