The GAA is excited to announce the return of two highly popular initiatives for 2025, Ireland Lights Up and the Irish Life Healthy Club Every Step Counts Challenge. Both initiatives aim to inspire people across Ireland to stay active, improve their wellbeing, and come together on the dark winter evenings, and have grown to be amongst the largest community physical activity initiatives on the island.
Naomh Eoin are delighted to be signed up for both initiatives and we want YOU to take part. We might not be able to light up the pitch for night time walking, but we will be meeting at Woodlands every Tuesday night at 7.30pm sharp for a 5k walk around Lisburn Road and Andersonstown Rd. The Sunday morning Walking Club at 10am in Corrrigan will continue to run too and we are always looking for new people to join us!
The challenge starts on Tuesday 8th January for 6 weeks until Tuesday 11th February! 👟👟
🎯Any club that hits the 4,000km distance over 5 weeks will be entered into a draw to win a share of €30,000 – there’ll be 3 donations of €2,500 towards club funding in Ulster up for grabs! 🏆
