Ulster GAA have invited us to be part of the first phase of a new mental health programme: ‘MOVEMBER: Ahead of the Game’.
We have selected the Minors/U15 to take part this time, with plans to roll it out to other teams in the year ahead.
It will take place Thursday 7 March in the upstairs hall in the club. They have confirmed our facilitators will be Domhnall Nugent and Oisin McManus.
The course is in two parts:
6.30pm: for players (45mins)
7.30pm: for parents and coaches. (1hr)
Movember ‘Ahead of the Game’ is a youth mental health program. It teaches players, parents, coaches, and volunteers to understand mental health, build mental fitness and strengthen resilience. Players learn how to deal with challenges in both sport and life.
Please let me know if you’re attending- Lisa Thompson 07979370830. I will need the child’s name and parent’s name if you’re attending.
Any questions, just get in touch.
Thank you
