Naomh Eoin hosted the annual Tommy Best Cup earlier this month and what a great day of hurling it turned out to be.
With Davitt’s, Naomh Pol and Naomh Eanna joining our own U10 teams, all the players who took part got plenty of playing time in the small-sided games that culminated in cup and shield finals.
Massive thanks to all our coaches who helped organise the day, to the band for leading the parade, to Owen McMahon for Amhran na bhFiann and to all the kids who took part in what was a fitting tribute to Tommy, a man who contributed immensely to Naomh Eoin inj his playing, coaching and administrative roles.
Thanks also to the Best family for their continued support for what is one of the most anticipated days on our club calendar.
