St. Johns 3-05 V Tír na nÓg 3-12 (Div 2 Camogie)
Despite losing by 3-05 to the visitors 3-12, the Naomh Eoin camógs gave 100% effort and this game featured some excellent camogie.
Carrie Anne Fitzsimons scored 1-03, Eimear Costello 0-02 and goals from Úna Simpson and Aimee Hesketh proved that Naomh Eoin are shaping up well for championship. If only we could draw on a full panel. A word of praise must by offered to four very young players who have come in this season and worked hard last night, Leona Johnston, Céara Carleton, Katie Connolly and Chloe Fox.
Along with Aine McParland, Aideen Quinn and Cliodhna McCaffrey this group of juveniles have held our team together in very difficult times and will all develop into good senior players.
