It might be holiday time for a lot of people but the show must go on at Corrigan, with plenty of on-field action this Saturday and the usual activity in the sports hall and gym.
Fit-4-Life finishes for Easter this week and Laura will no doubt make sure the participants are put through their paces before their extended break. The normal start for this, 10am.
The senior hurlers then start their 2015 league campaign with a tough assignment aagainst Loughgiel at 5pm. With the leagues being restructured (again!) at the end of the year, it’s important that the lads get off to a good start. With our full contingent we are certainly capable of improving our league position…the added advantage of the Corrigan and a good Naomh Eoin crowd will certainly help in this one.
After the hurling, our minor footballers entertain Lamh Dhearg in the final of the Dwyer Cup at 6.30. These sides have been neck and neck through the age groups so a cracking game is expected. It’s great to see the big games back at Corrigan and hopefully that will inspire Gerry and Jim’s charges to go out and win their first silverware of the season, with the aid of a sizeable support of course.
See you all there at some stage…
