Naomh Eoin Ladies Football Update 22/05/16

The Ladies Football teams have had mixed fortunes with the Leagues kicking off.

The Senior Ladies have had 6 fixtures to date winning 3 and fielding a mixture of U16’s and seniors,  the mixture of youth and experience in  the team have them  playing well as a unit, the team displayed some excellent football against St Enda’s on Sunday evening coming away from Hightown with a good win.

 

The U16 Ladies have had a great start to their campaign with 6 wins out of 7 games. Their only loss was to St Brigid’s and the girls are sitting at the top off the League. The girls are on a break due to exams and games resume 14th June

 

 

The U14 girls have played 6 games and won 5, They kicked off their championship campaign on Thursday with a win against St Galls, they meet  Con Magee’s in the next round. This has been a great achievement with such a small panel off girls.

 

 

The U12 girls have had mixed fortunes winning and losing a couple of games but they are enjoying their football.  In their most recent game they had an excellent win against St Pauls. The girls have been showing   great fight and determination and playing some excellent football.

 

 

The U10 girls have played a number of Go Games to date coming away some good wins. The girls hosted a recent blitz at Corrigan coming away with 2 wins out of 3 and fielded a number of U8 girls who played some good football. A talented panel of kids who have a bright future with St Johns.

 

The U8 girls have also been in action playing a number of blitzes showing great enthusiasm and commitment. They have a panel of around 20 kids continuously showing up and you can see a number of kids who have the potential to be excellent  footballers.
