Naomh Eoin U21s saw off Lamh dhearg at Corrigan yesterday with a bit to spare and now advance for a semi-final showdown with Naomh Eanna, next Sunday at 2pm (venue tbd).

Despite the atrocious weather in the days leading up to the game, Corrigan was in decent condition, allowing the St John’s lads to stick to their quick passing game plan, for which a young Hannahstown side had little answer.

The game was beyond the visitors at half-time as the Johnnies went in 2-9 to 0-1.  The second half did see them register a goal of their own but the addition of a further 2-5 reflected the difference between the teams on the day.

Great performances throughout the pitch from the Naomh Eoin lads and they will no doubt be hoping for the same intensity next week against the Hightown outfit in a game that will be a step up from the last 3 weeks.

Keep an eye on facebook and twitter for details on where the game will be played.
