The GAA, Camogie Association, LGFA, Handball and Rounders Associations have now launched an agreed and updated Code of Behaviour for working with underage children. This is a major focus for the Associations at present and structures to assist and monitor progress have been established.

This procedural document has now been adopted by the club at committee on 22nd May and replaces all previous child-focused documents.

It is the responsibility of all members, especially those involved directly with children and young people, to be familiar with the content of the guide as this will be the basis on which the club will monitor progress in this area and against which all members of the association will be held accountable.

The document can be accessed online at GAA Code of Behaviour-Underage (Google) orwww.gaa.ie/thegaa/child-welfare-and-protection. Please visit the site and become familiar with the content.

Martin Crummey will be available to anyone who wishes to seek clarification on the document and its implementation within the club.
