A mixed bag for our hurlers on Monday night…

Our U12 hurlers suffered their first reverse of the year against Brid Og. A fairly sluggish start saw them trail by 4.3 to 1.2 at half time and despite great second half performance, outscoring the opposition 3.2 to 2.1, not enough for the win. But a good performance nonetheless and more improvement to come from this very young squad. Final score 6-4 to 4-4 in Brid Og’s favour

Defeat also for the U16s against Lamh Dhearg. Some good passages of play but the visitors ran out winners by 1-13 to 0-4.

However, our reserve hurlers saved the night with their second win of the SA league against Sean Treacy’s, scoring 5 goals in the process. A lot of last year’s minors getting some important game time and hopefully sterner challenges for this panel in the weeks to come.
