U14 girls Footballers pipped at the post!

Bad luck to the girls on their loss by the minimal of margins to a strong Tir Na Og team in the final of the Winter league at the Waterworks on Saturday.

The Match was a great display of skill and commitment by both teams and was a great advertisement for ladies GAA, gladly acknowledged by the large crowd who were in attendance.  The girls played outstandingly for the last 9 weeks and earned their place as strong contenders for league and Championship honours come the end of the season. They never wavered and should be proud of their achievements.

The skills and commitment they displayed was evident throughout the panel and was deservedly acknowledged by opposition players, mentors and supporters.

WELL DONE GIRLS – You did yourselves proud and are a great credit to the Club.

Also a big THANK YOU to the Parents, Team Mentors and Supporters who have helped out and followed this great bunch of girls.
