Ladies Football Update.

This year due to the popularity and continuous growth of ladies Football we are in a position to enter teams at all codes for the 2018 season.

We have also introduced some new coaching staff and mentors to work with existing members of the ladies teams.

Kelly Darragh, Jeanette Mc Allister and Nicola Neeson taking responsibility for the U8’s.

Debbie Boyd, Siantelle Boyd,Rebecca Crummey & Ceara Carleton working alongside Laura Bannon at u10.

David & Claire Reynolds moving up to u12.

Micky Mc Mahon teaming up alongside Orla Crummey at u14.

Ciaran Boyd & Martin Crummey- u16.

Andy Fennell & Ciaran Boyd- Minor.

Frank Maskey & Andy McGowan- Senior.

 

The U8’s start Go Games @ St Brigid’s on the 14th Apr.

 

U10’s started of the season with a challenge game winning against Bredagh and start Go Games @ St Brigid’s on the 7th Apr.

 

The u12’s have also played one challenge game winning against StPauls.

the u12’s first league outing League is against Eire Og on Fri 6th April 6:30 @Woodlands.

 

The u14’s started of the league with a good win over Glenavy but came out on the wrong end of the result against last years run away champions Moneyglass in their second game.

Next game for the u14’s is against Gortnamona on Thurs 5th Apr 6:30 @ woodlands.

 

This year due to the high numbers at u16 level we decided to enter two teams so all girls can get game time and introduce some of the u14’s onto the panel. Once again mixed results with a good win over Sarsfields by the A team and a loss to Lamh Dhearg by a minimal score for the B team.

Next games for the U16’s are A team against Con Magee’s  on Tues 10th Apr 6:30 @woodlands.

B team against Glenavy on Tues 10th Apr 6:30@ Glenavy.

 

The first outing for our new Minor team is an away game to St Enda’s  on Friday 13th Apr @ Hightown.

 

Senior footballers start their  Div 1 campaign away to Aldergrove on Mon 9th Apr @Aldergrove.

 

G4M&O’s are hosting a blitz @ Corrigan on sat 14th April.
