This Sunday, 10th September, Naomh Eoin CLG hosts the annual Andy McCallin Memorial Under 8 Hurling Blitz at Corrigan park.
The Blitz is for Under 8 Hurlers (i.e boys born in the year 2008 and after).
Registration starts at 10am and clubs are asked to do so promptly. We ask that all cars are in the carpark before 10.20 to facilitate the parade.
Each club is asked to wear their club colours with pride and to bring their club banner to display during the parade. Clubs are asked to be in position and ready for the parade for 10.25 at the very latest.
Each club are scheduled to play seven games on the day, assuming all clubs attend. Every player from every team will receive a special centenary winners medal and each team will lift the Andy Mc Callin Cup as winners.
We hope this will encourage all the attending players and teams to continue to enjoy our native game as they develop into the future.
Each team will be provided with a lunch pack and refreshments for spectators will be available upstairs in the clubhouse throughout the day.
